There have been recent court cases where the issue of HORIZONTAL FRACKING has come up.

Many believe Horizontal Fracking  drains oil from adjacent properties and is the same as a SLANT WELL which the courts have viewed as illegal for years.

So far the major courts in the states where it is going on have said, TOUGH LUCK sink your own well to protect your mineral rights to landowners filing claims for horizontal fracking.

The key case is known as the Garza Opinion (Coast Oil & Gas V. Garza Energy) in the Texas Courts.

It basically has been viewed by some legal experts as a green light to STEAL OIL from other property owners.
